Thank you so much for your interest in Imagine Camp. Due to extenuating circumstances, we will be canceling the two scheduled weeks of Imagine Camp this summer, July 25 through August 5, 2022. We hope that you find us, when we return for Summer 2023 with more workshops and more opportunities for our campers to dream big.

IMAGINE CAMP!  Is a dynamic summer day camp for creative, curious, and inspired children, ages 8 - 11. We allow children to dream big, and then help them learn the concrete skills they need to make those big dreams come to life. With clay, with wood, with words, and with code.  Most importantly: with our hearts. Because learning isn’t only about tools and technology.  When young people actually see that what they dream is possible, they have the power to change the world.

Specialized Workshops

Our week long workshops provide campers with an immersive opportunity to learn real skills, to build with real tools, to solve real problems. To bring their dreams to life.  In each workshop, campers receive guided instruction in professional tools and techniques, as well as personal guidance to support their individual interests and needs.

Discovery Workshop

JULY 25 - 29    |      AGES 8 - 11

Discovery Workshop is all about getting messy, exploration and play! Children will spend the week exploring a bit of everything, growing their imaginations and learning that anything is possible. Discovery is a great starting off point for future Workshops at Imagine Camp.

Each day, campers will focus on a different open ended, hands on project, which might include Slime Lab, Tie Dye, building bug hotels, creating a cardboard city, mural painting, or constructing mini race cars.

Build a Play Workshop

AUGUST 1 - 5    |     AGES 8 - 11

Build a Play Workshop is based on the work of The 52nd Street Project. The Playmaking program was originally by Daniel Judah Sklar from his book Playmaking: Children Writing and Performing Their Own Plays.

In just one week, campers draft, stage, and produce an original play. At week’s end, professional actors perform the campers’ one-act plays in a powerful celebration of student voice. The week will culminate in a sharing of our piece performed by professional artists with support from campers.  This one week camp is lead by teaching artist Corey Ruzicano and Broadway actor, Gabe Gibbs.

Poetry Workshop

JULY 25 - 29    |      AGES 8 - 11

Build A Tiny House Workshop

JULY 25 - 29   |     AGES 8 - 11

Want to build the perfect tiny house for your dog or dolls? Join excellent maker and Workshop Middle School Founder, Andrew Ravin, for this one week workshop to do just that!  Campers will plan and design a basic small structure (no more than 30 inches height, so not for giant dogs and dolls!), build their houses and have time at the end of the week to personalize and decorate with paint and fabric.

Tuition

Imagine Camp! believes that circumstance should not be a barrier to quality programming and experiences for your child. We offer three tiers of tuition rates to allow each family to choose a price point that works best for their individual situation.  We do not ask for documentation, but trust that the families who choose us, do so because they share our commitment to equity. Our hope is that families who are able to pay the full amount, do so.

    • Tier Two: 75%
    • Tier three: 50%

  • 10% discount when enrolling more than one camper. Use the discount code sibling10 to apply this to your purchase.  You can also pay forward tuition for someone else!
